The glucan used in Hi-Genki Glucan is a hybrid glucan and is a glucan mixture extracted using the “Multi-stage circulation pressurized extraction method” from 4 types of mushrooms (Tochukaso, Reishi mushroom, maitake mushroom, and shiitake mushroom).

This “Multi-stage circulation pressurized extraction method” is a patented method that changes the pressure for extraction depending on the component. The extraction is done over several stages so that the mushroom components are not damaged, and it allows for the effective extraction of large amounts of mushroom components.

The general glucan extraction method can only extract glucans with high molecular weights, but this multi-stage circulation pressurized extraction method is unique in that it can also extract glucans with low molecular weights. Hybrid glucan, which contains glucans of both low and high molecular weights, is said to work effectively in the body.
